Saturday, August 10, ALSV and Mervyn's in Mission Viejo joined together to provide 50+ middle school children with an opportunity to start the school year with new clothes and school supplies.
Our chapter members and ASSISTEENS®
acted as personal shoppers for the participating
teens. At the direction of ASSISTANCE LEAGUE® member,
Diane Peters, the ASSISTEENS shopped for school supplies to
fill the gift backpacks and baskets for the students. All
the students and league members enjoyed a celebration party
after the shopping spree.
